Bailey Kennedy, LLP welcomes Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School students for the 2024-2025 school year as part of the school's Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).
The CWSP is a unique education model that allows students to work in a corporate setting alongside their college preparatory studies. A team of four to five students equivalates to the amount of work one full-time employee for the partnering company. Students will perform entry-level, clerical tasks for the company and be imbursed into a real-world work environment.
Bailey Kennedy has participated in the school’s work study program since its opening five years ago. The law firm’s goal for the students they partner with is to gain skills ranging from office culture to work responsibility, helping to launch them into the next steps of their careers.
The Cristo Rey model, developed in 1996, provides quality education to economically limited students, who earn their tuition through the work-study program while gaining valuable skills for their future. Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School has opened in North Las Vegas in 2019 as the first of its kind in Nevada.
