LAS VEGAS, NV (December 17, 2021) For the eleventh consecutive year, Bailey Kennedy LLP participated in Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada “Adopt a Family” program. Starting with the Thanksgiving holiday, Bailey Kennedy employees went both online and ventured out to stores again to select the perfect gifts for the two adopted families according to their requests and needs. Staff then wrapped the gifts throughout the season until they were presented to the families.
The “Adopt a Family” program was created in the hopes of assisting families whose child had been diagnosed with cancer to help alleviate both the financial and emotional stress that the holiday season may cause a family. Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada is a non-profit agency that for over 40 years has been providing support and services for families of children diagnosed with cancer. Children from birth to 21 years of age who have been diagnosed with cancer or who have survived cancer are eligible for services if they are living or being treated in Nevada.
