LAS VEGAS, NV (May 10, 2024) Bailey Kennedy, LLP recently attended the third annual ‘Taco-bout-it’ event at Cristo Rey St. Viator. Representatives from the firm watched on as the students employed by Bailey Kennedy gave a presentation on the law firm and its employees, as well as the impact that Bailey Kennedy had on their lives during the school year. Bailey Kennedy, LLP has been involved with Cristo Rey St. Viator’s Corporate Work Study Program since the school’s inception in 2019. The event allows all of Cristo Rey’s Work Study Partners to visit the school campus and see the progress their student workers made through the school year, both personally and professionally.
The Cristo Rey model developed in 1996 in Chicago, Illinois, to provide quality education for economically limited students who earned their tuition through the work study program. Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School, located in North Las Vegas, opened its doors in 2019 and gave many high schoolers opportunities to experience a variety of professional careers and learn valuable skills while also maintaining high educational standards.
